Websters - Newtown

The place wasn’t crowded at the weekend night. We ordered two aperol spiritz to kill the time. The lady bartender wasn’t really eligible for her job based on how she mixed the liquor. Anyway, the vibe was not bad and they also served a great range of food here.

They encourage card payments but charge an undisclosed card fee, so obviously a skullduggerous establishment. Good apart from that though, with reasonable prices and the best rooftop in Newtown, also terrible chips.

Ok so when you go upstairs in the heat of the day the only people who have shade are the smokers.

Came here because a friend said "if we're getting food, we're going to Websters" and I was not disappointed.

Now, I'd love to judge this place on their food or cocktails but I'm going to just tell you it was the starting point for an epic night in Newtown.
