The flavours, design and presentation of the degustation was what was expected. A bit quirky with a side of flavour. I felt that the flavours wasn't that amazing. For example the fish and chips looked very cool but tastes like fish that you could taste yourself. The wagyu was my most preferred dish. Service was ok. They asked at the start if we were allergic or had any food requirements. I said I read that there's licorice in one of the dishes and asked if I could have any alternative which they did go to the chef. Their reply was that as we had only advised now that there is no alternative which I completely understand but then what's the point of asking if there's any food requirements. My suggestion is have a read of the degustation items before hand to check and advise before the day of your meal for things you don't like. For two degustations, one person with the matching wine (which had some very funky pairs) and 2 separate wines it was $440 including tip. Overall I thought it was nice but I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back with plenty of other places to try.

O S C I L L A T E ☆ W I L D L Y I must admit, when the avocado dish came out I was disappointed. Like really? A fine dining restaurant serving sliced avocado? Will the next dish be gem tomatoes?? However, every negative thought went out the window as I took the first bite. It was ****** amazing and tasted nothing like avo! Just wished that there was more of it. Oscillate Wildy really does fly under the radar, as always being the ‘yeah I’ve heard of it, it’s on my list but never really knew anyone that’s been there’. Well now you have. And now you must go. Every dish was different and such a pleasure to eat it. Décor is simple and the staff are attentive. ✌@foodiesguidetosydney
It was a wonderful dining experience at Oscillate Wildly. The 8 courses menu was diverse and very creative, also affordable for the given quality. Every dish was surprising, good mix of different textures and savours. Definitely recommend the experience!
I'm so glad a friend told me about this little gem of a restaurant. I couldn't believe I didn't know of it or the fact it has two hats! The degustation menu is a surprise so you don't know what you're in for which is a little fun. The food was creative, great flavours, textures (loved the sugar cane), the quality overall was sublime but I was left wanting more... not only because I loved it but because I was still a little hungry. It was one of the lighter degustations I've enjoyed. Also loved the matching wines, these were well paired to each course. The service was spot on for the style of restaurant. Thanks for a good evening, we'll be back.
