The perfect post uni treat. Hakiki icecream has that bubblegum texture and distinct taste that you won't find at your average icecream parlour. Must try: the melon and feta icecream
What a great Vibe Hakiki has. It's almost like a nightstand where you can sit for a long time. The displays are breathtaking. Grief I was interested in trying Turkish ice cream. The noticeable difference is that it has a sticky consistency, but is still so cremig. I went for the strawberries and cream. The band of strawberry ran through them was so refreshing. I also tried the Turkish joyful taste and it was so authentic and not a super sweetened version. Grief I would like to come back to try the Baklava because it looks incredible!
Quite simply dug into the ice cream, without photographing photos - Oops: P tried this place for the first time after seeing a show in Enmore Theater. The place was packked !! I can see why there were heap of great and different aromas. We have the strawberries and cream and baklava soops for $ 7, a good value, considering that a taste costs $ 5! The former tasted amazing, but while I enjoyed the latter, I personally did not like it so much. Wanted her Turkish joy ($ 1?!), But Totally forgotten when we hahah our icecopy flavors ... Next time!
Haikiki is a popular ice cream parlour which offers classic Turkish ice cream or Dondurma, Baklava and an assortment of Turkish delights. Turkish ice-cream differs from the typical Italian gelato in its thick and elastic texture. Hence, it does not melt easily and dirty your hands (Oh great!!) I tried their version of pistachio and burnt caramel and they tasted thick and creamy. Hakiki is a worthy alternative to the nearby Cow & the Moon, Gelato Blue and Messina. I will go back for their Turkish Delights and Baklava flavours ???????? Enmore is my favourite place for ethnic and artisan food because they rarely disappoint (Look at my ratings and the spot ons!). And Enmore/Newtown is fast becoming the dessert paradise in Sydney ????????
