Hardee's - Newport News

The customer service was extremely disappointing. We used the drive-thru and were instructed to pull over and wait. The car in front of us ended up getting a refund and left. When our food finally arrived, it was delivered to the wrong vehicle. After waiting for 20 minutes, I went inside with our receipt. I was assisted by two women who tried their best to help, but many other staff members were unhelpful, and one had a notably poor attitude. The chicken was tough, the green beans tasted stale, and the biscuits were gummy. I've never been this let down by Hardee's before. This location definitely needs to retrain its staff.

I'm not sure about others' experiences, but I can confidently say that Hardee's has lost me as a customer for good! There are no Hardee's locations where I live, so I was really excited to finally try it. I was extremely hungry since I hadn’t cooked dinner. My partner brought me a hamburger that was far from what I expected. I had to check it twice because I couldn't believe how poorly it was made. The edges were dry and burnt, the sesame seed bun was stale, and it was overloaded with pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, and onions. I managed to eat half of the burger before I gave the other half away. The fries were cold and went straight into the trash. This was around 5:00 PM, so maybe they had just been sitting under the heat lamps for too long, but it definitely wasn't fresh. Whoever the manager is should be embarrassed to allow their staff to serve food like that! Dine there at your own risk. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it! That's all I have to say.

Although the service can be a bit slow at times, the food is always worth the wait.

The food is of good quality, generally fresh, and well-prepared. However, there are times when the service can be quite slow. They often have cars pull forward so they can bring your food out to you when it’s ready.

I always have a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food is consistently served hot, and the customer service is exceptional.
