One Bellevue - Newport

If you're a fan of chicken, definitely order it from the menu. It was honestly the best chicken I’ve ever tasted—so delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly, making it our favorite place. My fiancé and I got engaged on the charming outdoor patio, surrounded by Christmas music and a cozy fireplace!

Very elegant establishment. Excellent hotel. I really enjoy the Sunday brunch. Definitely give it a try; you won’t be disappointed. Rating: 7 out of 10.

Inside, the hotel boasts a grand atmosphere with a blend of old-world charm and modern touches, reflecting the management's pride in maintaining the building's appearance. The indoor pool and hot tub are spacious, though the carpet in the pool area is not hygienic and would benefit from being replaced with tile. The gym is also a decent size, and guests have access to all recreational facilities at any time. While the view of Newport and the ocean from our room was fantastic, the room itself was a bit cramped and became uncomfortable once a rollaway bed was added for a third guest. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great value for three nights. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The afternoon tea experience, a recent endeavor, was quite enjoyable yet had its quirks. The menu featured many nods to Victorian tea traditions, but the scones were a departure from the norm. The service felt friendly but somewhat disorganized. Perhaps it will become more streamlined as more guests start coming for tea. I wish them the best with this venture! Everything was certainly well made.
