Cru Cafe - Newport

I give Cru Cafe 5 stars for its exceptional cuisine, service, and ambiance. This place is a hidden gem! After completing a 7-mile cliff hike and working up a hearty appetite, my companion and I decided to try Cru Cafe since it was conveniently located near the hike. We ordered the CRU Chicken Sandwich, which consisted of grilled marinated chicken, avocado, jack cheese, and basil aioli on brioche, as well as the Crusty Crab Burger, which featured Asian coleslaw and remoulade sauce on a baguette, with a side order of classic potato tots. The total price before tip came to $32. Every dish was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. When we mentioned to the woman at the register that it was our 25th anniversary, she surprised us with a complimentary box of assorted pastries. The pastries were simply amazing – the blueberry muffins, scones, and a pastry filled with what seemed like crème brûlée were out of this world! With outdoor seating, fantastic food, and the beautiful scenery of Newport, life couldn't be better. I will definitely be returning to Cru Cafe and highly recommend it to others.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads. The service is friendly and the outdoor seating is pleasant. I particularly enjoyed the Cru Chicken sandwich.

On our recent visit to Newport, we stopped by Cru twice for breakfast and were lucky to have great weather to sit outside. Order at the counter before sitting and make sure to get the coffee, it?s delicious! We enjoyed the lumberjack breakfast, the NightShift Burrito, and the Not Your Average BLT. We loved everything about our visits ? great and friendly staff, ordering ease,condiments ready for use on the tables. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Beautiful Outdoor seating and indoor. Order food inside and they'll give u a card stand for when you choose your seat. Ordered the avocado toast plain, some eggs with corn beef hash and toast and a ham egg sandwich. The avocado was basically guacamolespread on white toast. A bit disappointed! The corn beef hash was delicious. The sandwich was ok. I also got the blueberrymuffin grilled and it was so good! Def recommend that. The coffee was self serve and so was the water. Staff was very friendly.

This restaurant is excellent for breakfast. You place your order at the register, but the food is brought to your table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They offer hot coffee with free refills and the option to dine in or take out. There is a wide variety of breakfast options with large portions. You can enjoy a satisfying breakfast for two people for under $30.
