Mcdonald's Family Restaurants

Not the easiest to access heading north, during peak traffic and pouring with rain, we were wanting a quick snack in our travels from Sydney to the Gold Coast, after being placed in the waiting bay (this is now standard for drive thru at Maccers right?) How silly of us to not check our order prior to leaving the bay. Yep- Completely wrong order given to us. Don't know why we bother with McDonald's. **** food, slow, incompetent service no matter which one you go to! Unfortunately this one pushed us enough to write a review! Wasn't worth the trip back to try and rectify it.

Being in the heart of the city this can get quite busy, but is well maintained. But beware, it becomes a haven for youths at night, particularly on weekends. It is well patrolled by security, which is sad in itself, but makes it safe.

I often have to go to Newcastle to work in urgent circumstances and finish late and when I do I go to my favorite Maccas as I saty at either the Quest or Travelodge so there in the middle is a reliable and well served source of nutritious food

I cannot believe people find time to rate massive fast food franchises on trip advisor, McDonald's is McDonald's, it's plastic food, ok if nothing else around, but usually cleanish toilets are available, but this establishment attracts a seedy class of clientele and perhaps best to be avoided late at night and at times with young children.

What can you say really, it is similar to any other McDonalds around. It is clean with plenty of seating in and outside. They do make a good coffee.
