Needs a little guide, the team seemed unmotivated and not overly tried to work, has great potential.

Freshly renovated pub with fantastic food and friendly atmosphere! we had the salmon that was delicious with nikoise salat, and that was also delicious. highly recommended!

We were for the night in the city and came over the recently reopened star hotel. it seems that a couple of kerle have brought the pub back into operation, and they were both really friendly and talked to us about the plans for the pub. had a meal here and the meal times were good and cheap. the place is a little rough at the moment, but they said they had a few memories of the walls. the pub is very clean and I really hope this place is pumping again.

We spent two nights in Newcastle recently and had a meal at the Star Hotel on our first night. The decor is inviting, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious, so much so that we went back for our last...night in Newcastle. The staff were also very knowledgeable about the dietary requirements for coeliac disease.
