The Stagecoach Inn Restaurant - Newboro

Soup cold and bland. Quiche really cold, sent back......returned after it was microwaved not the french fries were cold. Last summer we had a great experience, based on this experience, we will not be back.

This is such a cute little town Stage Coach, Sterling Lodge and Kilborns are all a must to visit walking distamce from Newboro Locks

The delightful drive to Newboro would have been enough to make Mother's Day a success but then our dining experience was perfect. The staff did not hurry us. The menu selections were good although my mother noticed the all encompassing price of $60 per meal and balked. "It is too much." "It's Mother's Day," we reassured her! The Caesar was OK and the salmon perfect. We all had the fish and it was perfectly cooked. It was everything that I would expect a fine restaurant to have. We will plan the next trip a little better. The restaurant opened at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday but the wonderful store next door, Kilborn's, closed for the day at 5. After shopping at Kilborn's, it is always a treat to go to their next door neighbour for lunch. The restaurant is attractive, the service excellent and the meal delicious. My shrimps, the special appetizer, were perfectly cooked. Our server was attentive, accurate and friendly. We'll be back.
