Safety I miss my pastrami and maisbeef on roggen with extra Russian dressing and koleslaw and my oatmeal cookies

This restaurant is a real gem. only place in the city, which still cungensandwiches, a real plus served. the owner is present and ensures that everything is.

Please open soon. I really miss a good pastrami on roggen- and heap soup. I will be there on May 1.

I hope this restaurant stays in business forever. The food is absolutely delicious and unlike anything else. This place deserves to be famous.

Full disclosure: my family and I did not actually dine at this restaurant. We were searching for a place to eat at 9 o'clock and must have appeared as lost tourists (due to a missed airplane connection). One of the employees, who has been working there for 30 years, noticed us and kindly offered to help. He went above and beyond by searching for open restaurants nearby, ultimately leading us to Central Restaurant, a local establishment that has been in business for 100 years. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there, but it was the kindness of the employee that stood out to us the most. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely make sure to check if this restaurant is open!
