Although the catfish nuggets are seasoned well, i would not order this again for $20. The portion size is not worth it, 7 pieces to be exact, you can get more for your money elsewhere. The cornbread was over baked as well and just tasted like regular bread in my opinion. I would recommend the salads, they are definitely worth the $20. Also it does not come with hush puppies anymore, the side choice is either fries or a salad.

When I saw this place I thought, and yeah I was completely wrong. Food was not it! Eggs wet Home fries are deep fried potatoes with red onions and peppers and clear no. Grits taste like an old pot! Only thing good on the plater was, bacon and sausage. Toast wasn’t even toasted!! Everyone has bad days BUT DAM.

This place was ehhh don’t go! Honestly speaking. This recent review is from someone who fines and dines.

I love the opportunity to support small local businesses. Vonda's has been my go-to place for monthly brunch with a friend. I enjoy the fried fish, fried chicken, and other southern menu items. On my last visit, I ordered the jumbo grilled shrimp and was very disappointed. The shrimp were not jumbo and very overcooked. It seemed that they were frozen shrimp (versus fresh) which may have affected the texture as well. With that said, the server was very professional and helpful when responding to my concern. She was pleasant and offered to bring another order of the shrimp which she did. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem, so maybe it's just they way the menu item is prepared. Out of my appreciation for the server and my past positive experiences, I didn't make any further fuss about it. However, I wouldn't order the shrimp again.

With the exception of plating,and things floating in my lemonade,hair on my plate it was a one time experience...
