The restaurant had fantastic modern architecture, excellent service, and delicious food. The pappardelle pasta was cooked perfectly and met Italian standards. The standout dish was the Brussels sprouts with cauliflower. The wine selection was impressive, particularly the fresh and sparkling Pinot Noir.

This spot is perfect for a lovely lunch and some relaxation. The food, views, and service were all fantastic. It's not a long drive from Christchurch and can easily be done in a day. You can also visit other vineyards in the area while you're at it. We brought along our 3-year-old and found that the cellar door and restaurant were very welcoming to children. Our little one had a great time exploring the vineyards.

My partner and I took a day trip from Christchurch to this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The use of local ingredients really made the flavors pop. We also enjoyed the stunning views of the vineyards and rolling hills, along with a fantastic wine tasting. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we hope to visit again in the future!

We came here for lunch and had the wine pairing, amazing food and great wines! If I was being harsh I'd say there were slightly too many raw parts of the menu-tartare, raw lamb and white fish crudo but honestly we had a great time! And the views were beautiful!!!

Genuinely surprised to find this family owned local winery. I love the slightly fusion food with the specially prepared sauces. The scenery is open and relaxing. Do try out the Riesling and Pinot Noir; I personally like them the best. The venison entree is stunning and so is the seasonal vege. All in all, this restaurant restored my faith in fine dining around the Canterbury area. Lastly but not the least, the staff are really bubbly and helpful. Thank you!
