A traditional Italian restaurant near the Met Museum, Neue Gallery, Madison Avenue shopping. Holiday weekend Saturday noon lunch. Reasonably priced Prix fixe only. Bland warm asparagus soup. Fine arugula salad with blue cheese, mushrooms. Good veal Marsala with mushrooms and very good calf’s liver, both with an old fashioned scoop of mashed potatoes. Tiramisu wasn’t ready so had a scoop of rich dark chocolate ice cream. Good wine list.

Valentines Day dinner after a day at the Met. Decent food but terribly overpriced. Pre-fix pricing with one glass of wine came to over $100 per person. Would not recommend

This is a congenial and welcoming small restaurant in New York's upper East side. the atmosphere is perfect for relaxed conversation and civilized dining. the dishes are classic Italian, beautifully prepared.

Everything was extraordinary: the flavors, the attention to detail, and the service from the waitstaff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
