The Meatball Shop Upper East Side

As its name suggests, this is a restaurant dedicated to meatballs. Both inside and out, you can see the attention to detail in the vintage, cozy and stylish decor. If you can get a table near the window, it becomes romantic. The employees are very friendly and sell the concept well, giving you a menu to choose the type of meatballs and then the sauce. In my case, I chose the tender and juicy pork meatballs with a sauce and parmesan cheese to accompany a vegetable risotto that was the special of the day. They also have a very good polenta as a side dish, and the meatballs with traditional tomato sauce are also good. I recommend saving room for dessert, a cookie sandwich or brownie with chocolate in the middle, and you can choose a good ice cream. I chose the mint flavor and it was delicious. Very good food at an affordable price.

Outstanding! Our table was ready when we got there! High chairs already at our table. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating to our children. FOOD WAS AMAZING ALWAYS! Drinks amazing. Love the Meatball Shop.

Disappointed in this place. It looks like a promising ambience from the outside but the mood is quickly brought down by the chaotic staff and patrons allowing children to run around tables and throughout the restaurant. It took us minutes to get water and then another before we were asked for our meal order. It was weird when the waiter made us feel dumb for not understanding the menu. Looking forward to going to other places on the upper east side.

Service was great. I was pleasantly surprised by and loved the veggie meatballs!
