Lava Shawarma - New York

Wow this place is kinda amazing. I haven’t been able to find a good Doner locally since I returned from London, having them frequently there. This place brought me back to those fun late nights, with the long, thin wrap and tasty fillings. I got beef/lamb wrap and it was amazing; falafel was also solid. Grape leaves were average, maybe a bit salty. Can’t wait to try the haloumi sandwich!Vegetarian options: Falafel, haloumi

Delicious! Just walked in randomly and it was so good. Honestly everything on the menu looked great.

Got Chicken Shawarma Arabic(lava) sandwich. Including fries, drink, etc came out to $17. Sandwich was really a burrito. Pretty good, only I wish it was spicier. I think they're missing cumin on the spice list. Fries were pretty good but unseasoned. If I got some salt would be excellent.I will return for final judgement and ask for extra seasoning.Service was good.The storefront is small but they have very nice outdoor seating area. Although it wasn't cleaned at all lol.
