Drunken Horse - New York

Had dinner here on the evening silvester with a group of 7 before the nye party in mckittrick hotel on the street (what could explain why we had a less than great experience. the room was bright and clean and it was incredibly easy to get a reservation, which is why we were there. Eating was decent flatbreads were a little sloppy, cheese cigars and charcuterie teller were amateur, but presentation and taste of the other items was edible: falafel with hummus, mushroom casserole (delicious! . also found the iPad menu more out of the brush and felt more like something for an Irish pub than a tapas table. the service has much left to wish, a server, a kitchen staff (I understand it, it is nye . the server gave to commission from the vibe of us and told us only that the kitchen 5 minutes before, what caused us to get another thing that we did not need because not all foods still out. he didn't let us know that he didn't serve a coffee after 9:30. a lot of head shakes and eye roll on an experience that should otherwise be fit.

Liked the iPad they provide as the menu. Very cool to see pictures and descriptions of all the menu items. That being said, the food wasn't very good and the cocktails weren't that great either. Too bad! I really wanted to like this restaurant.

It was a nice overall experience, but we sat next to a group that was over loud. I couldn't even talk to my partner.

A great little spot to grab dinner. Hummus was excellent as well as the filet mignon plate. Wine was excellent and a healthy pour as well
