Down The Hatch - New York

I absolutely can’t wait to come back to this bar again, and the reason is hands down 100% because of Lucas. Not only is he a great bartender and makes a great drink, his stories will keep you in stitches and he really makes you feel like family. Everyone needs to come here!

This place is the perfect chill bar. Such a great vibe. The bartenders are cool and nice to talk to. The service is great. The food comes out fast and it's surprising delicious for a bar. The burger here has beat some burgers in restaurants and diners that I've tried. It's a very juicy double cheeseburger. They have a full bar but only American beers, no imports. They have beer pong set up in the rear and darts. Numerous tvs, each showing different sports. Festive lights flickering throughout with the feel of a dive bar. Happy Hour is Everyday until 7pm which is awesome and very rear. I highly recommend this spot. Just pop in and try it and I'm sure you will be a returning customer

WOW! It wasn’t my first time at this location. Was with a group of friends, having some shots. The bartender… I don’t know what his deal was but NEVER IN MY LIFE had I experienced such a human. He was complaining about how he doesn’t get paid enough by his job and he makes a living off of tips and that we NEED TO TIP him, basically forcing us to tip. Maybe he needs to find a better job?

The staff here is just the best. They're really good to us and we literally come once a year and make a ruckus. It's not my scene (because its not my couch in sweatpants) but it's still very cool vibes and again, when the people are good, it makes everything better.Food: 5/5
