Dim Sum Palace - New York

All I can say is the food was good but the portions were pretty small… they tend to have this sense of urgency to want to remove your plates if they think you’re done even if there is food on it. Something else was when I tipped I guess I was $2 short and 4 guys ended up surrounding me and telling me I’m short $2… so that was an experience.

Wonderful and fresh Dim Sum. Everything we ate was delicious. Will definitely be back

It was our second time dining here and I was very happy with our experience. The fried rice in the picture was so good, I believe it was seafood fried rice or something but I’d order it again. Gotta love their quick and efficient services.

We ordered a generous amount of dumplings, buns, and soup dumplings. It being a very cold day -2 with wind chill! we also ordered chrysanthemum tea; they brought us the whole teapot and cups to share which I really loved! The food was delicious and so filling, especially the chicken soup dumplings. I would also recommend the Szechuan mushroom dumplings!! Overall, service was quick, attentive, and they had no issue answering any questions we had. I will definitely be coming back to have some delicious tea and food. I think this would be a great place to go to have a great conversation over food- the atmosphere is perfect for grabbing lunch with a friend or co-worker.

Dim Sum Palace is definitely a hole in the wall. I've tried their egg custard buns, chicken shumai buns, etc. I must say the wrapping is super thin and melts in your mouth. They have other entrees but mostly they specialize in dim sum. I would definitely come here again. It's very quiet in here and not busy at all. They also finished my order in less than ten minutes so if you're starving, it's not much of a wait.
