Seated promptly outside. Host was attentive ... he saw my note that we wanted to sit outside but iphone Opentable wouldn't let me do it. Waited quite a while for our food. Shishito peppers were too salty and cold, french fries were cold, mussels were tasty, but too many onions. Not sure if we would go back
Both the manager and our server were first rate. They were friendly and welcoming. The food was much tastier than the word "tavern" might suggest. I'd love to go back
It was such a nice time for a casual after work gathering
It was super noisy, and the table is weirdly wide, so I was far apart from my companion and we couldn't really hear each other. The food was okay too salty though. I appreciated the references to Croton reservoir history
