The room we were seated in was freezing, and smelled like cigars. I’d recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for a fine dining experience. I could recommend several other restaurants that would be a better choice to spend over $500 on.
The Waiter, Raymond, is outstanding, very knowledgeable of The Menu and how the Steaks are served rare, medium rare) The Rib Eye is consistently delicious. The baked potato is a meal unto itself. We have never been disappointed.
First, when we walked in there was no one to greet us and show us to a table. Second, when we were finally seated the service was excellent. The room was cold and they said the heat was as far up as it could go????? As for the food, the Ceasar salad was excellent and the fried shrimp appetizer was good except they had no tartar sauce. My friend had the prime rib which was huge and on the bone. He said it was delicious. I ordered the stuffed scallop special and they were like rubber. The waitress quickly came and apologized and offered me to order something else. I ordered the crabcake appetizer which didn't taste like crab at all...all stuffing. Mr. Schlesinger came over and offered his apologies and told us about how hard it is to get crab and lobster due to COVID delayed deliveries, which we understood. But if you can't get the proper ingredients, take it off the menu. We were not charged for my dinner and the crabcakes but it was a very disappointing experience and we won't be back. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Very nice steakhouse! We had superb service (Raymond) and excellent food. I had prime rib and my husband had the tuna special.
Always enjoy my steaks and the service at this establishment. Looking forward to my next visit.
