Dohnut - New Paltz

What a lovely marketplace! There are many beautiful shops, and the antique store has some wonderful items at very reasonable prices. Most shops are open, and staff are wearing masks. Just a short distance from the market, you'll find a charming little bridge that you can cross. There's also a pleasant walking path along the river, which seems to be quite easy to navigate.

Absolutely lovely! The area boasts a beautiful array of shops that attract a diverse mix of people, all of whom are wonderful to see. The gardens are delightful as well. The shopkeepers are friendly and eager to help, making for a pleasant experience all around. A stroll through the area is very enjoyable. I recommend grabbing an ice cream and some water, then heading to the bridge. From there, you can walk along the riverbank, which is picturesque and simply breathtaking. Just a note: if you’re planning to visit the mountain viewpoint where you can see five states, be sure to book your ticket online in advance. We were thrilled with the experience and believe you will be too!

It is beautiful small village market that will give you a feeling of the European village.. many beautiful shops.. beautiful way to spend an afternoon or a boring morning just by browsing the small shops or simply taking coffee or even a few selfies.. a must have space in New York upstate.

Nothing beats the Mud Puddle family owned great people love the new do over inside delicious coffee, tea selection and chai! We love to choose from the menu and either eat out in the courtyard or on the porch....so many memories hanging at the mudd puddle through the years a fun destination since my daughter was a baby. Great place to visit right off of the rail trail in lower New Paltz located with a nice view of the Mohonk tower. It has nice little eateries and shops, as well as two stone Chess tables with regular Chess pieces to play with friends while enjoying the ambient noise of a small handmade waterfall.
