I asked for taters with gravy, when we got to the window and asked for it to be changed to poutine. The servers response was “that’s what was going to happen anyway”, first of all she was extremely rude and unprofessional, secondly, are you serious? What kind of response is that when someone asks to change their order. So I paid for my order and it’s a good thing I checked it before we left because low and behold we got taters and gravy not the poutine that I asked for. I am very grateful for the workers that are working at this difficult time however that doesn’t mean all customer service should go out the window. She was extremely rude and I truly hope she doesn’t treat other customers this way.
We arrived at the restaurant late in the evening and found it to be one of the few options available. It was not very crowded at that time. The customer service was good, with the attendant assisting us in choosing the best option from the menu. We enjoyed the food, but I do wish they would pay more attention to keeping the place clean.
I find the value for what you get to be better than KFC but something with the spices of the chicken make my stomach not like it very much. I was also annoyed that they have Halloween decorations up in September but oh well.
Very friendly staff. I was not familiar what to order. The staff gave me lots of options of what I might like to order. I asked if they could do the tatters without salt. That was not a problem. Loved the chicken. I did not find the chicken greasy like some other fast food chicken places.
Spur of the moment hunger took us to this relatively new restaurant in town...less than year they have been open, so you can expect delays, that is a given. It was noon hour and about five people ahead of us. Many years ago in Newfoundland I preferred this chain to KFC. That isn't the case now. The menu is minuscule, and for me the options very unappealing. In fact when we saw a customer carry his order to the nearby table, my wife and I looked at each other and said....want to try somewhere else. That split second comment was followed by an exit. The restaurant looks long on kitchen space, short on comfort and cold. I was disappointed because I had watched the build, remembered the funny motto they had years ago in a more foregiveable world when they boasted ...the best legs in town. The chicken then was very good. I hope this location can broaden the menu and kick up the servicing speed and more importantly give portions that even look generous.
