Bakers Delight - New Lynn

I recently tried all three of the delicious vegan scrolls at this restaurant: berry, apple and cinnamon, and apple and walnut. They were all incredibly tasty, fragrant, and fresh. My favorite was the berry scroll. It was brought to my attention that not all bread sold at this bakery is vegan, but after reaching out to Bakers Delight on Facebook, I have received confirmation. Their vegan bread options include white, wholemeal, country grain, hi-fibre Lo-GI, Lo-Fo, chia, cape seed, authentic sourdough, continental, Turkish, and ciabatta. Each product is clearly labeled on their website if it is vegan. I was informed that if bakery employees are unsure of the ingredients in a product, they should print out the information from the POS system. Customers can also request this information from bakery staff when visiting, as they are required to provide it.

So, if you're ever unsure about the ingredients in a bakery product, don't hesitate to ask the staff for that information.
