Burning Mountain Bakery And Deli

We stumbled on our country trip. A local said it was a great place and it was! It was my son's birthday and all the staff came out and sang him for his birthday! They also had really delicious gluten-free options that was great as 3 members of our family require that!

No better place for local pastries, pies, and pizza all wrapped up in one stop! The staff is fast and friendly, and they make you feel right at home!

My husband and I love the food here. They offer some amazing freshly made pastries which I cannot pass up; tasty sandwiches and pizzas. We do alot of takeout business with them. They also have live music occasionally, the outside seating makes for a pleasant beer garden.

Krista was awesome! She was super busy but very calm and personable and handled the chaos like a star. The food was also great good portions, great quality, and surprisingly fast for the time of day and how busy they were.

Whenever I'm traveling and I have the option to take the longer route along I-70, I choose it without hesitation, because it leads me to this fantastic restaurant. Every time I visit, the bakery display is overflowing with irresistible desserts that can entice even the strictest health enthusiasts. The only downside is that their cinnamon rolls have completely spoiled me; now I find myself comparing every other cinnamon roll to those at Burning Mountain, and nothing else measures up. The pizza is fabulous, and their breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious and melt-in-your-mouth good. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and sitting at the bar with a drink allows you to soak in the friendly hospitality of this small town. I always suggest Burning Mountain as a must-stop when traveling along I-70, and so far, everyone I've recommended this gem to has been thrilled with the experience.
