Nova Casa Cacao - Nazare

Booked a table here and was not disappointed. Had octopus with rice which was fantastic, two of us had grilled fish with potatoes all really well cooked. The place was buzzing but the owner was really attentive and his staff knew what they wwere talking about. The biggest surprise was the bill we spent 6 nights in Porto and this was the cheapest eat by some margin.

Great food and very friendly service. Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and so happy we did. The fish was fresh and true value for money. The service from all staff super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.

I don’t usually write negative reviews but not only was the food bad, but it was clear at 9:45 that they wanted to close. The French fries were not cooked, the boiled potatoes were served without oil as is the tradition in Portugal. And it was clear the staff was rushing to close despite a later posted closing time. The wine was good as were the olives and bread.

Recomendo, o staff muito simpático e atencioso o comer delicioso. O prato escolhido foi a cataplana de bacalhau e o que tenho a dizer é que é uma maravilha, super saboroso, tudo nas doses certas. Recomendo não se irão arrepender
