Restaurante Pangeia - Nazare

We’d been planning a visit here to Pangeia for a while and last night we finally made it there. I was expecting it to be very excellent after I’d heard good things and read good reviews, but no amount of praise or positive comments could have prepared me for how amazing the food was and the high standard of service. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. We ate prawns, streak, pork cheeks and grilled octopus and we everyone found their dish to be excellent. Fortunately we saved a space for desserts. They were the best desserts I’ve seen offered in a restaurant outside of Lisbon. We had a different one each and tried them all! We’d been to Pangeia by the sea in May and had been very impressed. The ‘big sister’ restaurant with great views of Nazaré, is also excellent. Both the place, the food and the spectacular service. We were surprised by the octopus trilogy, with a great flavor and a 10 presentation, a delicious white wine and some wonderful desserts. Always a pleasure to come to this exceptional restaurant both for the quality of its dishes and for its location overlooking the city of Nazaré. I go back every time I go there and I've never been disappointed! I recommend the veal tournedos with its half lobster without hesitation! 5 stars well deserved!
