Miramar Et - Nazare

The restaurant is serving poor quality food with a service that makes you hope you could leave. The waitresses have little knowledge of the food and what it countains, and maybe it is better that way. In surroundings where freshness is the norm these people surprise you but not in a good way. Do not go if you can avoid it.

This hotel offers comfortable rooms. Is in a very quiet location, except some dogs that starts barking every night around 19h00 and 21h00. Nice indoor and outdoor pool, but the fitness area is basic. Breakfast is nice but average. The restaurant is good. The rooms at one side offers a lovely view over Nazaré, the beach and the ocean. This location has one inconvenience that you need a car to go to the Center of Nazaré. Around the hotel are various interesting sites to visit.

Not being happy with the evening buffet at Miramar Sol we chose to eat in the à la carte restaurant here. Not quite within walking distance but worth getting in the car for.

The Restaurant was nice with a great view over the city and the see. Attentive service. The food was delicious with local specialties. The desert was also wonderful, taking simple Portuguese cakes into a higher level.

The staff were very friendly, the food was tastefully prepared and served and the prices were reasonable.
