Birrias Chivos Cheves - National City

Good birria and I thought the service/interaction with the cashier wasn't bad. A bit pricey like everyone says but no extra credit card charges like most small restaurants around the area so perhaps that is why. Will definitely go back!

The Birria and quesbirria were soooooo good.The Menudo needs work though. Had to throw it out because it was not cooked thoroughly. But will come back for sure.

We did not eat here, yet. We came here and it was packed. A very good indication that this place is good. We will be back at a less busy time to really try it out and then I will update my review.

I should have took pictures but I got too excited with the delicious smell. Its a small spot but the service was good. Had a family owed vibe which I love. I got the beef birria bowl and it was loaded with flavor. I added a bit of lemon but nothing was really needed the flavor was on point. The birria burrita was also good and came with rice and beans in the inside and if you like quesatacos then I would suggest adding cheese it mixed really well. The guacamole was also good and very fresh. I like the fact that i didnt have to add lemon or salt to it. The only reason this place didn't get a 5 star was because the portions were small but the flavor was big so I will def be back.
