The cooks were so friendly and the food was fantastic.

Smother pork chops were great. Brown gravy was amazing. Cole slaw and Kool aid were great as well, definitely coming back to try other things on the menu when I get a chance.

Thankful that real cooks and family owned businesses still exist. I ordered collard greens that I'd been hoping they had. I've found my new favorite for homemade greens. They are perfectly spiced and seasoned. Made with turkey (but always ask in case it's pork).

I ordered chicken and dressing with potato salad and greens and it was horrible! I tried to give them a second chance when I saw the grand reopening sign . It was worse than before! Everything was way over cooked. It was like it had been in the warmer for a few days. Chicken just fell apart and I knew the greens had been cooked for days because there was a bone in it that just crumbled in my mouth. I should 've known something wasn 't right when I was the only customer. Potato salad? Mashed potatoes with miracle whip...
