White Spot Nanaimo

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly; they were more than willing to split the bill for our two families. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. There’s a wide selection of drinks to choose from, but be sure to ask about the specials since the promotional materials at the entrance were outdated and no longer available.

We stopped by for dinner and both of us indulged in our favorite meals from White Spot. My partner chose the Legendary burger while I opted for the Monty Mushroom. The difference in quality between what you get at the restaurant and the awful version served on B.C. Ferries is astonishing! The buns were fresh, the burger was packed with delicious ingredients, and our server Holly was phenomenal! She truly exemplifies excellent customer service. Kudos to everyone, from the kitchen staff to the hostess, and especially to the wonderful server we had. Thank you! It was a fantastic experience with a delicious meal and a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere!

It's not often you can visit a family restaurant and feel like you've dined at a high-end establishment. While the atmosphere could use some enhancement, the taste and quality of the food were exceptional. The Monty Mushroom burger I had last night ranks among the top five burgers I've ever tasted—and I've had my fair share over my 50 years! Kudos to White Spot for that. Our server, Lisa, was fantastic—pleasant, friendly, and she had a nice sense of humor, covering all aspects of service with ease.

This has been my favorite restaurant since childhood, and I make it a point to visit for every special occasion. I can't wait to bring my friends here when they come to Scandinavia. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and the manager is always cheerful. I really love the atmosphere. I do wish they wouldn't change the fries, though, as they can sometimes vary… but that's just a small issue.
