Smitty's - Nanaimo

The food was excellent. I ordered the "Early Riser" dish for $6.99, which included 2 eggs over easy, 2 sausages, shredded hash browns, and toast.

We went here on Christmas Eve after we got off the ferryThis place is clean, with friendly staff and great selection of food.

Food is average, service is decent but find it pricey for what you get. The restaurant is pretty dated but the kids might like the huge fish tank in the middle of the restaurant.

The food was hot, large portions but mediocre. Ordered an omelette that was flavorless and used cheap horrible cheese. It is a good place to take children. The kids liked their pancakes. The service was not very attentive, a little slow and not very accommodating. The whole experience is summed up by the title: everything was ok but not something I want to repeat.

Smitty's was way better 3 years ago! I went there last month and the service stunk, and the pancakes I ordered were raw! When I sent them back then the burned them???? I wouldn't recommend going there:(
