Lee's Chicken - Nanaimo

Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken is pretty good. I much prefer their spicy chicken products, offered in chicken pieces, chicken strips and an excellent spicy chicken sandwich. This sandwich has considerable kick, and the ciabatta bun is one of the freshest and most flavourful I've received from a fast food restaurant. The garnishes are on point and while it can be rather messy, it is thoroughly enjoyable. If you have a choice between chicken strips or boneless chicken breast for the sandwich, wait for the boneless breast. It is large, succulent and about as good as they come. They also offer a BBQ chicken sandwich, which was very satisfying. Their choice of side dishes are quite extensive. Their biscuits are good. The wedge fries are particularly yummy. Their gravy is perfect with their biscuits and mashed potatoes.

I live close to this place so once in a while i get their chicken sandwich lunch special.It usually is a great value,but last time i went the chicken breast was half the size it usually is.Not sure why?but the sides were good and the service friendly .I have eaten their chicken before and it is generally ok at best .I do find the pricing high here compared with kfc and iam not sure why??

Too expensive for this type of food, I wish they'd put a quality restaurant near this place. Staff was friendly though ~

I've been here twice. The first time I was here, I found a nice long brown/black hair in my burger. Giving this place the benefit of the doubt, I came back with 2 friends. I've never had a burger where I've had to bite and then tear with my hands in teeth to get a mouthful as the bun was stale. The only edible thing out of the burger, fries and coleslaw was the chicken patty. Talking with others who seem to like this place, the general opinion is to just get the chicken pieces. No fries, no sides, no burgers- just the chicken. It's the only thing they get right.

Went in there yesterday night with my girlfriend.. DISGUSTED with my visit. Chicken was undercooked, practically raw, yet dripping in grease.. So you put it in a fryer but didn't make sure it was cooked before selling it? Pretty gross if you ask me, should have called health inspection on them. Place is filthy as well, not sure why i even went.. Don\t even get me started about the staff, the customer service was the absolute worst thing I've ever seen. had some girl taking my order who clearly had no idea what the hell she was doing and that was probably because she looked 13 years old. worst customer service of my life, they were rude and snappy when i asked how long my food would be, which was 10 minutes longer then they told us. Small business like that, word is everything. you'd think they;d want to take their business more seriously in a small town like nanaimo. Could even hear the staff complaining about their management in the back, good look for a business owner... might want to lower prices if you ever wanna make a profit and hire some staff who know what there doing.
