Freshslice Pizza - Nanaimo

Pizza was supe hot and fresh ! Delivery was also fast

The pizza was surprisingly delicious! I would say it has more of an American style compared to other options on the island. Overall, it was quite tasty.

I was not impressed with Fresh Slice. Given the name, I expected fresh mushrooms, but instead, they were soggy and waterlogged, which was unappetizing. I ended up eating a second piece simply because I was hungry, but overall, it was just a terrible pizza.

I believe Freshlice has declined in quality. I used to enjoy picking up a few slices at a reasonable price, but since 2022, prices have increased while the quality has not improved. The sauce is too thin, and the mushrooms taste canned, which is just strange. They've been stingy with the cheese and other toppings, and they even charge extra for tiny drizzles of sauce on top.

Iv been coming here off and on for a while and I don't know why I keep coming back. Recently ordered a medium Hawaiian over on the mainland from a fresh slice then later in the week ordered the same exact pizza from this place except I added extra cheese to the order because in the past ov been less then impressed with the amount of cheese on the pizza. Well let me tell you the ready to go normal pizza in the glass case had more cheese then this extra cheese ripoff. This place skimps on any and all ingredients to save a buck. Can't recommend at all.
