Cactus Club Cafe - Nanaimo

I come here often and love the choice of drinks and foods. Always great service and nice ambience. The only thing that bugs me is if you are going to have unusual food like Duck on Fruit Bread with fries, why not serve an nice dip for fries rather than ketchup which is so predictable?

Great place to stop at before driving up or down the highway. Been here a few times and the food and service has always been consistent. If it is nice out, ask for a spot outside on the patio or it is a nice and relaxing setting.

Having driven to tofino on a Sunday and trying to make it back to Victoria, we found this place to be the only open option. It was quiet which was expected given the time so getting our food didn't take that long. I ordered the grilled salmon and my partner had the jambalaya and butternut squash soup. I found my meal to be absolutely delicious and well cooked. My partner also enjoyed his meal and we both have a great first impression of cactus club. Great food, attentive service and overall atmosphere.

We stopped for dinner soon after disembarking from the ferry. One of us had a burger and fries while two had a little more elaborate vegetarian options. All meals were delicious. The drink menu looked very tempting. And the ambiance on the patio was enjoyable too. The price was good too -- about $65 for 3 meals and non-alcoholic drinks.

Most Attractive staff ever!!! Friendly, attentive and kind. Oh yeah foods great too. Wings kick it and the beverages are cold. A++
