The food here is absolutely delicious! Over the course of three different evenings, we’ve tried the cold roast beef sandwich, the burger, the quiche, the steak pot pie, and the beet salad, and we've enjoyed every dish. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I find the menu a bit limited. I would love to see more healthy options available, particularly a chicken entrée besides the chicken pot pie. While I'm sure the pot pie is tasty, it seems rich with butter, flour, and salt. Additionally, the side dishes for every entrée are the same. The salad is fantastic, but I’m personally not a fan of potato salad. I really hope you consider expanding the menu, as we pass by every night after work and would love to stop in more frequently!

I appreciate being guided by knowledgeable servers when it comes to food recommendations. They know what's popular and what people enjoy, so I asked what their best seller was. The Beef Dip topped the list. It wasn't what I had planned to order, but I thought, why not? It turned out to be delicious, and the accompanying salad was excellent as well. I didn't even miss the chips, especially since I'm trying to watch my diet. It was the perfect way to wrap up a fantastic day in Nanaimo, especially after completing a 200 km bike ride. The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. I'm now trying to figure out how to bring my mum here for a meal!

Beautiful old Tudor pub and exquisite grounds. Service was great, our food was delicious , stopped by on our way to catch the ferry home. Very busy place and I can see why

My partner and I took a trip out there for a last minute dinner together and it was just a magical evening. The grounds are beautiful, the building is charming and full of character and the staff was superb. A big rave to Amy specifically who was our delightful server. Even after a little allergy mix up, she was caring, professional and absolutely fantastic with us. This kind of service and atmosphere will keep us coming back over and over.
