I visited Immigrant and was warmly welcomed by a friendly gentleman who explained the menu to me when I inquired. I had the Gordita Chicharron Verde, and it was absolutely delicious—the spicy pork was wonderfully seasoned. I also tried the Tamale de Rajas, which was fantastic; the flavor and cheese were delightful! I would highly recommend that everyone stop by and give it a try. If you're looking for really good tamales or gorditas, this is definitely the place to go!

I really enjoyed the milk cake and chocolate cake—they were a hit with the kids too! The bread was fresh and perfectly soft. There was a wide variety of pastries, including pina coladas, muffins, donuts, croissants, and more. The cake pots had charming designs, but my daughter loved the taste of the chocolate cake presented in a cake pot the most. The staff was patient and welcoming during our first visit. I highly recommend this place, and we even ordered a birthday cake. Great service all around!

My wife usually got our Pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) from a local bakery, but they closed for a few days, so my wife decided to get some bread to try it, and let me just say, we are not going back to that other bakery! This bread has so much flavor in every bite. I highly recommend La Luz Bakery.
