Great local food and HUGE portions . . staff are all very friendly and helpful, the food is fresh and well prepared. nice locals place to eat
People were friendly, service was good and friendly. It is like being in a local soccer club club area, lots of club banners, pictures. One picture in black and white appears to show a team giving the infamous extended arm salute. Place is clean. Portions...are large. BUT food quality is very poor: I had leberspatzle suppe (liver pasta soup) to start it was Maggi fleisch bruhe (stock cube) with packaged pasta lots of it but bad. For main course I had wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes and potato salad: schnitzel was not wiener it was pork when it should have been veal, meat was tough and stringy, and the coating came off large areas of it the word Metzger in the name means butcher however this was very poor meat. The fried potatoes were tasteless and very greasy. The potato salad was tasteless and oily/greasy a big let down in Bavaria. Overall after a long walk from my hotel through building sites and an industrial area to find this place I was terribly disappointed. Beer was ok.
Typical German restaurant, typical Bavarian food. the decoration is totally german, it looks like in every small town restaurant. eating is very good and quite cheap, the staff is friendly "German style". the part is that there is something out of the way and it is hard to find even though it has a big sign at the entrance.
We were after a fussball match at rudi, although it was an original tsw 1860 we were warmly welcomed despite fc bayern jekots here is exclusively freshly cooked, that is tasted. a better price-performance ratio is not available in a few! all the foods were incredibly delicious, we will come back next time in any case. it is very hidden, but with navi not reaching a problem. as said a real insidertip if you want to go Bavarian food. top address!
