Wirtshaus Maxvorstadt - München

Been here a couple of times. Food is always good, lots of space and nice atmosphere. Typical Bavarian with a few twists. Really like this place and would recommend to both regulars and traveller's. Munchner schnitzel is a good one. And the fried apple rings for dessert

Outstanding meal. Low key atmosphere. Not too crowded. Near the museum district. A perfect meal of schnitzel and sausages and good beer too!

We visited this restaurant after a long day of walking and enjoying 3 of Munich’s Christmas Markets. Food was wonderful and server was friendly, service was excellent, and prices were fair. Cordon Blue and Schnitzel were excellent. Highly recommended!

The Maxvorstadt Inn combines modern cuisine with modern and traditional Bavarian Flaire. Prices are higher. For this there is a very varied menu with small dishes such as salads etc., but also real satt manufacturers such as carvings or cheese cookies. The food tastes really great. I also find the great ambience. The service is friendly and very fast. A highlight here was a DFB Cup Final for me. It was very nice in the host house. Anyone who loves the hostage atmosphere and modern food is definitely here.

We have visited this restaurant a few times, and always enjoy it. We have previously hired the bowling alley in the basement, which is a great way to spend an evening, but this time we came for lunch with friends. My partner and I had the potato dumplings, and our friends had various gigantic meat dishes. Everyone ate everything, and really enjoyed it. It was a sunny day, so we particularly enjoyed our table outside. Would highly recommend!
