Shalizar - München

Great Persian food and very attentive service. If you love lamb or chicken this is the place you should check out.

Very Slow service and very low quality lamb meat. It was not worth 25 euros for 1 person.

As the title says it wasnt the best of days and we were looking for something warming and not sausage and Shalizar fitted the bill, it was a good sign when we enetered that most of the customers seemed to be of middle eastern origin,...the food was standard but pretty good, with salad humous to start with lamb and chicken kebaps as mains. We ordered two glass's of wine which when they came were large, when we ordered another two they looked like they had a half bottle in each, just what we needed on what was a rain swept and cold day in Munich. Good location next to the main rail station and value for money, oh and very large glass's of wine

I m Iranian and I was there a few times. I don't say it s the best Iranian food that you can have but they make food as it is in Iran and there is no localization. Grills taste how they should. Environment is cool...and really Persian. Staffs are not that much professional compare to other restaurants but OK. The prices are OK compare to normal prices in Munich less that for main course and drink It worthies if you want to check Persian foods

So it was a booked group visit.Pros:They took booking!Dough was fine.They said they were out of fish, which I like to think it was meant to be fresh and now they were out of it.Cons:Their kashk-o-badenjoon had no kashk because they were out of it!!! Yet they served it without the kashk, not even telling us that's the situation. Their baghali polo and mahiche, had the mahiche, but only a couple of Baghalis! It was an improvement to the kashk-o-badenjoon.Their kubide was supper salty. Told the guy (not sure of his role) he said it's the cook who cooked it!!!! Yes, that was the response.Their mirzaghasemi was just about ok. Service was poor, got served at different stages, some arrived later and yet got their meal good 20 minutes earlier than the others. The dishes are too big for a small amount of food.Price-wise it was overpriced given the amount, quality and service.
