An American can eat so many hot dogs or variations of it. Lo and behold a Pho spot pops up in the middle of Munich. Here you won't find anything extraordinary in this bowl of pho. It's not Sot Vang in Hanoi or Pho Hoa Pasteur in Saigon but at this point you'll eat anything but hot dogs. The owner is an expat apologist of North Vietnam communist regime. You see this in the decor and ambiance so ixnay on political discussions. A normal bowl of pho anywhere else; a 3 Michelin star meal two weeks in der Vaterland.
Ate here tonight and enjoyed every bite. The mixed Vorspeisenteller was full of delicious things with 4 dipping sauces and a flame to do your own grilling at the table. Pho Bo was very tasty. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. Five stars for the food. Tegernseer beer on tap! Interior relatively simple but comfortable nothing special but unpretentious. 3 stars for atmosphere. Service friendly, very attentive but not pushy. Could have been a bit faster with the drink orders after we arrived. It was a Tuesday evening and there was a constant flow of guests. Prices fair. Definitely will be back here soon.
Good quality Vietnamese food, nice staff and the required amount of heat in a good Pho. Let down a little by serving chilli oil to up the heat hence no five stars. I will be back though. A little piece of my second favourite city in the world.
Probably the most authentic pho I've had on my trip around Europe. Reminded me of my mom's pho. You can tell there were no preservatives added to the broth because it was clear and without foam. Absolutely delicious!
We enjoy going here. Food is nice, clearly labeled vegan options. And it‘s not as crowded and loud as other places.
