We visited the place on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was excellent (we've tried the Münchner Schnitzel). The attitude of the staff on the other hand needs some improvement: They weren't rude or anything, we just constantly felt that...they are overwhelmed (the waiter came to our table after minutes to take our orders, the food arrived in minutes, etc and they'd prefer if we just quickly eat, pay and leave. Too bad, with nicer service they could easily get a rating.
What a genuinely lovely place this is to eat. It’s tucked away in a quiet residential area (though ideal for the Leonardo Olympiapark hotel close by) but is well worth a visit. The building is old, has a lot of character, the service is laid...back and really friendly, and this is one of the best Käsespätzle dishes I’ve had (there are a couple of veggie options on offer) fresh, tasty, cooked perfectly. My meat eating companions had a superb schnitzel with fries and we finished it off with outstanding fresh Apfelstrudel. The little neighbourhood restaurant is quite simply very “Munich”: a synthesis of traditional Bavarian character, with a hint of the modern trendiness of the city, through the waiting staff and presentation of the food. Recommended.
Excellent service. Amazing sense of humor plus explanation of the catalog and stereotypes of the Bavarian life. You get to eat the best and have a good time.
Service: little, every waiter tries to avoid work. Food: basically not bad, but resch is not in this restaurant, fried hot: slippery. Chef: criminal, refuses to accept any suggestions and criticism. Price/performance: drinks at high prices, meat offers too expensive, preparation partly inadequate. In Summa: not recommended if you can have good mood and good food at fair conditions in the long term!
