Loretta Bar - München

I had the bad luck today to get my bike caught in the tram lines and was thrown off right in front of the cafe. immediately there were genuinely helpful people there... customers and staff, with first aid box and genuine concern. the excellent coffee...and rest i had to get over the shock and the helpfullness of all there deserve this very thankfull review. and i will try not to get caught in the tram lines again!

I tried the hot chocolate. I am no fan: not hot enough and as many places they yse cacao powder instead of the real stuff.

Nice simple place with simple dishes but quality is good. Had an antipasti sandwich which tasted great. Service is kind. They also serve great home made cakes that look wonderful. Good stop for lunch or drinks.

My friend and I went in for a cocktail in the early evening after we found out the sushi place nearby wasn't going to open until later. We were not disappointed by the cocktails. The bar is very cool and quirky..it has cool arty decor....We sat at the bar and were treated to a cocktail extravaganza experience. The bar is more like an apothecary or academy than a simple bar. I felt like it was the Hogwarts of the cocktail world. We had fab cocktails with flavours we never had before. Greek bergtee cocktail and plum marmalade smoky cocktail. Hello? Where what do you find these? They totally have their home brews as well. Such a cool place in Munich. Definitely coming back!

I know my bavarian friends would not (most probably) appreciate the title of my review but its just an alternative way to describe a place that is minimal, with great aesthetics, laid back and in the middle of the gay neighbourhood in Munich. No attitude...here and everybody is very friendly. Go for it!
