Gaststatte Nurnberger Bratwurst Glockl am Dom

We visited as a family of four whilst spending a few days in Munich. We reserved a table online good job too as they were very busy when we arrived. We were seated quickly inside (no space outside) and it was clear to see the staff were rushed off their feet with taking and delivering orders. However, we were asked for drinks pretty quickly by a very friendly lady who explained they had implemented a new ordering system and it was causing some issues with the speed of the food being delivered. We got our drinks pretty quickly but did have to wait a while to order our food and then had to wait for about 20 minutes for the food to come. The food was excellent and clearly cooked to order so we didn't mind a bit of a wait. The waitress was apologetic about the delay and she did a great job given how busy all the waiting staff were. A few things to note though we ordered a bottle of still water. This was just shy of 7 euros. That felt a bit steep for a bottle of water. The other thing to note (although our own beers did not have this problem) we saw a number of beers being delivered to customers which were anything from 60 to 80% foam. I would have personally sent mine back. If you are ordering half a litre of beer then you would expect that rather than mostly a large head of foam. I see there have been other reviews noting the size of the heads on the beers. We saw about 10 15% of the beers going out with more foam than beer. This may be down simply to the speed the beer has to be dispensed at to keep up with the demand.

What's wrong with the bartender? Food was great, beer selection was fine but every beer was solidly 20% foam. Really good sausages, sure glad the beer was cheap because the pour is bad.

Excellent experience in Munich. We went for dinner on a Monday and were surprised to see how full it was, it seems majority of table were friends from work. It was full but we got a small and convenient table inside (it was very cold). Staff was great !!! Very very gentle and happy , you could see that although very busy they like what they do. Food was delicious ! Portions are big and plates for 2 people could serve 3 very well. Beer and atmosphere were great. Price was fair. Highly recommend that place !

Chilled augustiner from the wooden barrel excellent cuisine and the best imperial smarrn of the city. service flott and friendly.Next so!

We were already more often in the bratwurst glöckl directly at the Frauenkirche. the foods are all good, recommended are the sausages and the meat-plants. the service is very friendly and flotted. the highlight is, however, the augustinian bright (beer) from the wooden barrel. the prices are for the class and central location as well as for the great bright very ok.
