Alois Dallmayr - München

I had just finished a tour and was famished. I had lunch in the small cafe/bar on the first floor. It was quite crowded, but I was able to find a table. They only offered a seafood menu that day. I ordered the grilled salmon with pumpkin purée and a salad. You can tell from the picture that the salad was huge. The salmon was perfectly prepared and the pumpkin purée was an amazing combination of flavor. The staff was at the top of their game as well and spoke English, which was very welcome. The cafe is located inside a high end deli/cheese shop/bakery, and I highly recommend picking up something for later.

The quality of the ingredients used at Dallmayr is simply outstanding. Freshness radiates through every dish they serve, and their selection is impressive. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or a seafood lover, Dallmayr has got you covered. Their wine collection is diverse, featuring an array of carefully selected labels, and their fresh salmon is a true delight for the taste buds. The café itself is beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations or answer any questions you may have. It's clear that they take pride in providing exceptional service to their customers. I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate Dallmayr's commitment to using high-quality ingredients. Each bite I took was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavors that delighted my senses.

Dallmayr is a 2-starred Michelin restaurant that is walking distance from Downtown Munich. Still haven't been able to eat here as I never plan ahead to go to Munich, but one day I definitely will and make a reservation prior. I have, however stopped by for coffee and snacks. The coffee is amazing, as are the desserts. Will update again after I eat here.

A high end gourmet store in the old city center ... this place has it all ... prices aren't as crazy like Harrods in London .. but definitely not cheap ... tons of cheese, and cold foods are available ... They have a section of chocolates, teas, cookies, wines and super high end liquors ... After buying some stuff, we went to the bar and had a couple of glasses of wine .. The service was nice and attentive ... Don't fear a language barrier ... everyone speaks English ! Will be back for sure next time I'm in Munich !!

This is my favorite stop whenever I am in Munich. Lunch at the Dallmayr Bar Grill was fabulous!! I am still craving the shrimp salad. You can dine inside or outside. Service is good. The food and wine is high quality as you would expect. [hidden link]
