Relaxing environment, friendly staff, great southern comfort foods, and the only place to get breakfast in mountvernon Iowa.

Went there today for lunch. First visit was awesome today was not so good. Ordered the angus burger medium was raw, waiter was on his phone and talking to buddies had to flag him down for second cup of coffee and pop. Bathroom as dirty. So Disappointed.

Best burger I’ve had so far in Eastern Iowa. Joe is the son of the owner and usually starts playing live music Thursday-Saturdays. Great atmosphere.

Amazing service, clean, best Salad Bar and food in Iowa. Worth the drive from Dubuque or anywhere. A must stop. It was our first tome but won't be last. Also great prices!

Salad Bar was excellent and ambiance was really nice, very friendly staff.
