El Torito - Mount Vernon

The woman above me failed to mention that she received her meal for free as a gesture of goodwill. The staff explained that the chef was sick that day, and the food was sourced from another restaurant. After reading her previous reviews at other locations, it is evident that she is difficult to please and enjoys causing trouble by leaving negative comments. Very disappointing.

I had a great experience at El Torito. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The staff was also very friendly, which made me happy.

The Latin cuisine at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the ambience is beautiful, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

The food was tasty but it wasn’t hot when served. Portion size was adequate for the price. I would come again

Ordered off grubhub I Did not enjoy the tres golpes, it was extremely salty! It was a disappointment because Instead of the traditional queso de fri they had put ONE slice of American cheese under the eggs… The rice tasted old and dry and the beans were bland… I’m sorry but this was not a good experience at all.
