Mount Shasta Resort

Absolutely breathtaking place on the foot of the mountain. The chalet rooms are clean with all the amenities and a very comfortable bed. the haupt lodge was beautifully decorated for christmas and the view of the bar is beautiful. a winter wonderland?

Nestled in beauty, otherwise overrated. The hotel floors creaked, the beds did the same. I did appreciate the spaciousness of the room. Nothing fancy or upgraded, simple room. No free breakfast, no pool, no fitness area, it's set up more like cabins which is nice. Looks neat from the outside. If you're a golfer you'll like it as they have a nice golf course with beautiful trees surrounded by the mountains. Very quiet and scenic location.

Service was good but the menu for a resort is lacking.

Stayed here before and I had a good experience. Booked for a room didn't know it wouldn't have a kitchen. I tried to change my room and they didn't try to accommodate me flat out said couldn't help me because I was checked in. How am I supposed to know what the room looks like before I get there. Took some groceries and had to dispose of since I was not going to be able to cook anything in the room that only had a microwave and a mini fridge. Very disappointing ?

Beautiful, tranquil. We were here in mid-September. Nice daytime temps, cool mornings. Geese flying over the lake. Just gorgeous.
