Culver's - Mount Juliet

Have you ever craved a burger only to be let down by it not living up to your expectations? That won't happen at Culver's! I recently had my first visit, and my meal was absolutely delicious. I might even go as far as to say it was better than Whataburger (yes, I really said that)! My burger was juicy and packed with flavor, and the fries were perfectly crispy. I will definitely be returning. Oh yes, you can count on it! Yum!

The food was quite good overall. The chicken strips for my wife and child were decent, and the onion rings were enjoyable. However, the waffle fries were a bit uninspiring and just average. The "spicy" chicken sandwich didn’t have much heat and was a bit on the dry side. On the plus side, the burger was flavorful. It did take a bit longer to receive our order; we had to pull up and wait for around 8 minutes.

I ordered a double burger with fries, some chili, and custard. The fries were neither too hot nor too cold; they were quite good. The chili was decent but nothing special. The burger, while tasty, was lukewarm, and the cheese hadn’t melted. It would have been much better if it had been served warmer. Overall, the food was quite good, despite a few minor issues.

The service here is a joke, slow and nonexistent. For what we paid for our order you would think the service would be better. For the length of time we waited for our food you would think my burger woud have been warm enough to melt my cheese. You would think that with the amount of employees working, some who were standing around talking to each other, I would have recieved quicker responses when needing things and would have actually gotten what I asked for. However I did not. I will never return to this location again.

I'm really bummed to write this. I like culvers. I like supporting a restaurant that's not McDonald's. Their food is so good when done right.. and that's the issue. At this location it is never done right. Every time I have gone, they manage to screw up my order. I talked to the manager and he told me to be patient as they train new staff. That was months ago. I understand staffing issues, but I don't have this problem to this degree anywhere else in town. It's a uniquely culvers issue. I have started checking my orders before I leave the store, but they still find ways to screw it up that can't be caught on a quick check. Cheese sauce that literally feels like it came out of the fridge. Raw onions instead of grilled onions. A single burger instead of a double. They have messed up my order all but one time. I am not exaggerating here. Their quality control is pathetic. Guess it's off to McDonald's.
