El Diamante Mexican - Mount Ida

You wouldn't usually expect small town Arkansas to have such fine eating establishments as this. Who knew? The food has been great even time we have gone. I recommend it if you are in the neighborhood.

Good food, good salsa, quick, service was good and the sweet tea was excellent!

Loved the beef fajita and carne asada. The tacos could've used a second corn tortilla. Portions were generous.

The best I've ever had was chicken, mushroom and onion. It was a long time ago. I hope they still serve this. Salsa was perfect, and this review comes from someone who lived in Denver for many years, the epicentre of great Mexican food.

Who would have thought that this little town served some of the best Mexican dishes I've ever had! We stayed in Mount Ida for a day on the way to Kansas City of Houston and this restaurant was one of the few ways we had in the area. We really had no expectations of this place, but walking to the restaurant, we were very pleasantly surprised! The ambience and decor of this restaurant was just so friendly and pleasant to the eye! And our server was very friendly and accommodating. I got the Carne Asada and was overwhelmed by the part of the food for the price I paid for it. The food kept me for three meals! For Dessert we shared a record of Sopapillas, which really increases the whole experience because it was so good. Recommend this restaurant to everyone in the area.
