Dora Cafe - Mount Dora

Food was mediocre at best. Staff was friendly. Quite popular with locals but I think it is because it was inexpensive, not because of the food

First time I liked it corn beef hash) the second time I ordered quiche and it was microwaved. I didn't say anything but it was aful. I gladly would have waited for them to oven heat that for a better result. Waitress never asked if we liked our food orneeded anything the second time either. They was busy but not packed at the time of my visit.

We had breakfast here at least six times, and it was consistently enjoyable. The coffee is always excellent, and the food is great too, with a diverse menu selection. The hash browns are typically crispy, and the cooking oil used doesn't have that stale taste that you might find at some other places. I particularly enjoy the smoked sausage. The lunch menu offers a wide range of options as well. The owner and staff have always been friendly and provided quick service.

What a fantastic café with incredible food and service! My family and I discovered it after a long scout camp at Dora. We really enjoyed the breakfast— the eggs were fluffy and full of flavor. The hash browns and homemade fries were also excellent. We'll definitely return next time we're in town!

Clearly a local favorite! We tried to dine here last weekend, but the place was packed. So, we got up early enough to secure a table and we were not disappointed. The breakfast prices are standard, but the food was incredibly delicious—served quickly and with friendly service. Highly recommended!
